Whether you like it or not, the continuous advancement of technology is not going to stop. It’s either figure out where you fit in or possibly be left behind. As technology becomes more of a hot topic each day, there are entities like Share The Vibes that are making sure that the everyday person keeps up with the times.

For the fourth year in a row, the annual Share The Vibes Music and Technology Festival is taking place in Milwaukee on July 12, 2025, to elevate the intersection of music, technology, and community. This year’s festival is being held again at Vivarium, located at 1818 N Farwell Ave.

The festival was created to uplift rising artists, deliver hands-on tech education, highlight local businesses, and bring people together through creativity and collaboration. According to a press release, since its launch, the Share The Vibes Festival has featured over 22 music and dance acts, 26 Milwaukee-based businesses, and 15 local podcasters, with hundreds of attendees.

“We’re in a time where not having a relationship with technology is no longer an option,” said Share The Vibes Founder Devin Jenkins.

This year’s Share The Vibes Festival headliner is Shonn Hinton, Milwaukee world-touring guitarist and producer, along with performances by other local artists curated by MuSample, a Milwaukee-owned business created to help music creatives protect their music, time, and money.

Outside of the music, there will be multiple conversations on artificial intelligence and how to access “modern revenue”, but music is the connecting piece.

“I try to find creative ways to give people what they need. Everybody doesn’t thrive in a lecture environment,” said Jenkins.

Every year, the festival features a live podcast, and this year is no different, with this year’s theme being “Discover how AI and emerging technologies are reshaping the creative economy through our hands-on workshop”. There will also be interactive competitions and a vendor marketplace.

Jenkins said it’s all about community and helping people learn things they didn’t know before.
